The Confirmation preparation process invites young people in 7th and 8th grade to deepen their relationship with God by opening themselves to a greater outpouring of gifts of the Spirit in their lives. Through this sacrament, young people are more closely joined to Christ and the church, and they are sent to be witnesses to the world of God's saving love. Preparation begins in the fall of 7th grade and continues for two years. The candidates receive the sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of 8th grade.

Parents of children seeking to celebrate this sacrament should contact Coordinator of Religious Education, Erica Cook at 773-525-0709 ext. 119 or

If you are over the age of 18, were baptized Catholic and received first Communion, but have not received the sacrament of Confirmation and would like to, please contact Brooks Robinson at 773-525-0709 ext. 111 or
