Safe Families For Children
Safe Families for Children is a national, Christian nonprofit which connects local families in crisis with "safe families" who volunteer to watch their children while parent(s) get back on their feet. This is a great opportunity to show Christ's love and compassion for local families, often young single moms with no support system, in a tangible and meaningful way.
Common sources of family crises include homelessness, underemployment, hospitalization of parent(s), and escaping from domestic violence.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Our SVdP ministry at St. Alphonsus is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to serving our poor and marginalized in the Lakeview area community. SVdP has helped many with utility bills, rent, food, transportation and medical expenses thanks to the generosity and hard work of our Vincentians and dedicated supporters. Contact: Luis Cantu
